Gain fundamental skills for creating and understanding audiovisual projects in the context of media and marketing.

The course Audiovisual studies and production focuses on audiovisual production from the perspective of marketing and media. Emphasis is placed on the current state of audiovisual production at home and abroad. The course introduces students to all phases of the creative process in the creation of various forms of audiovisual works. It focuses mainly on the theoretical aspect of audiovisual production and explains history, current state and modern trends in audiovisual production. The aim of the course is to teach students to understand the world of audiovisual production and to create prerequisites for the ability to navigate it with regard to marketing and media aspects. Furthermore, the course creates opportunities for students to independently create, process and implement their own material into a complex audiovisual product. The course deals with audiovisual production theoretically, but also uses creative procedures (such as software exercises), and gives students the chance to individually participate in creation of their own audiovisual products and excercise their practical knowledge on existing projects.
